This is the third and final section of the series on Blessings and Curses. If you’ve just found this series, it’s best for you to start from the beginning so that you’ll gain the knowledge and understanding needed to receive this Blessing prayer. Here’s Part 1 – Understanding Blessings and Curses.
How to Pass from Curse to Blessing
Jesus made the provision for us to pass from a curse to a blessing by dying on the cross for us. He was wounded so we can be healed, died so we can have life and cursed so we might be blessed to be delivered from the curse. This is the purpose of the Gospel.
Galatians 3:13-14
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. “
When we claim this provision and become delivered we cannot simply leave it there, we must now ensure we continue to meet the conditions of
the blessing so that we can continually receive the blessing of God. We do this by listening to God’s voice and doing what he says. John 10:27 What we need to do is;
- Recognize the problem and what caused the curse
- Repent from what opened you up to the curse
- Renounce the curse
- Resist satan’s attempts to keep you under the curse
- Establish a clear scriptural basis – use these texts; Luke 10:19, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:13 & 14, Gal 3:13 – 14
- Confess your faith in Christ by receiving him as your Lord and Savior through His Gospel
- Commit yourself to obedience
- Confess any known sins committed by yourself of your family members even your ancestors
- Forgive all other persons because unforgiveness of others is a major barrier in getting your prayers answered and receiving your blessing
- Renounce any contact with the occult or secret services and get rid of any contact objects related to them
- Release yourself in the name of Jesus
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy,
and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
A Prayer to release yourself from the curse and into the Blessing
Lord Jesus Christ
I believe that you are the son of God and the only way to God
That you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead
I renounce all my sins and I turn to you Lord Jesus for mercy and for forgiveness
And I believe you do forgive me and from now on I want to live to you
I want to hear your voice and do what you tell me
In order to receive your blessing Lord and to be released from any curse over my life
First of all I confess any known sins committed by me or by any of my ancestors or others related to me [confesses your specific sins]
Lord I thank you and I believe you have forgiven everything that I have confessed and Lord now I want to say that I also forgive other persons; whosoever harmed me in particular I forgive
[name persons you need to forgive]
Furthermore Lord I renounce any contact by myself or any related to me with satan or with occult power in any form or any kind of secret society
Also Lord I comit myself to remove from my house any kind of occult objects that honor satan
and dishonor Jesus Christ
With your help Lord I will remove them all and now Lord Jesus I thank you further that on the cross you were made a curse that I may be redeemed from the curse and might receive the blessing and because of what you did for me on the cross
I now release myself from every curse and every evil influence and every dark shadow over me and my family from any source whatsoever
I release myself now
In the name of Jesus, Amen
Here in 2024 and I realized many of us beleivers skip through instructions and always want someone to pray for us without us being responsible for the work involved. This was me for many years until I learned the best person to pray for you is yourself.
Resources have been made available let’s do the work involved because honestly when you put your trust in a fellow human to deliver you from your situation you’ll always be disappointed.

I know I left a very long comment weeks ago and it is good that it hasn’t been published since there was so much personal stuff in it. I wanted you to know that I got rid of all the stuff I was in question about and when I left that comment I already knew that I needed to get rid of it. I was just seeking confirmation that I really didn’t need. I know God has been leading me since I was young and He is trustworthy to finish what He started in me. Thank you for your obedience to God. God bless you and this ministry. I believe God has shown me that I can honor my mother as David honored Saul, yet he still ran from Saul when he was in pursuit to harm him. So I can trust that God will show me the steps I need to take to protect myself while still honoring my mom.

Please i need prayer for marital breakthrough and breakthrough in every area of my life. I need prayer of deliverance from any generational curse and unknown curses.
Pls pray for husband I believe he is under a strong curse. He is going through a serious problem of business failure which has being reoccuring and reoccuring debt. My son has a health challenge which has no cure he walks with great discomfort. Pls pray for God’s total deliverance for husband and my first son and for my husband finances to pick up seriously.

My son is 21 and nothing has ever gone right for him. When he would get one friend they would always move. He suffers from anger, bipolar, major depression. He turned to drugs at 14. He is now 21. He accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior but does not believe the bible. We have had bouts of demonic oppression in our home for awhile now. I have prayed and prayed for my son to be released from the chains Satan has put on him. I am afraid he is suicidal and I firmly believe all of his mental disturbances and coincidental losses in life are due to demonic oppression. Nothing has seemed to work. Our family has seen the wonderful works of God and experienced Him in very personal ways. All of us except for my son. Please pray for his release from bondage. Thank you so much
I’ve suffered recuring curses in my life and fully believe that they exist, I am in need of a miracle in my life, and I know that Jesus Christ has released me from those curses, I went through life with people telling me that I need to stop believing in those things, I need to think positive, I am so negative, you need to believe in Jesus , when I tell them of what things I am going through. Some people can’t even believe that some of the things I say about my situations are normal, but I have found for the first time this site that truly understand what I have known all along, I know that JESUS CHRIST did release me from those curses, and now I wait for my situations to turn around, I thank GOD for me finding this site to help me to understand the truth and be healed by the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS.
